Volunteer

Volunteers are needed to help in the running of a Watermark Muster. They help us manage costs so our program can be offered at a reasonable price.

By volunteering you meet interesting people, make friends and have fun while you enjoy the sense of of being part of a unique Australian literary event.

Volunteer Roles

Can include:

  • Collecting writers and visitors from the airport or Kendall station and taking them to their accommodation and/or taking them back to their point of departure at the end of the Muster
  • Assisting with serving morning and afternoon tea and lunches
  • Adopting a writer and showing them the Camden Haven
  • Chauffeuring a writer to and from Kendall and/or Laurieton shops
  • Running errands into Laurieton or to the Kendall shops
  • Assisting with setting up the Kendall School of Arts and tidying up at the end of the day
  • Taking photos
  • Chauffeuring people on the excursion
  • Assisting with setting up the Laurieton School of Arts for the Words & Music concert
